NedLoans Corporate
If you are a Namibian citizen or a permanent resident, above the age of 21 and permanently employed for a period longer than 12 months, with an employer who has a Payroll Deduction Agreement with NedLoans, you are eligible to apply for a NedLoan.
A Payroll Deduction Agreement is an arrangement between your employer and NedLoans whereby your monthly installments due to NedLoans are deducted directly from your salary.
You can check whether your employer has a Payroll Deduction Agreement by visiting your nearest Nedbank or NedLoans Branch or the Mobile Sales Agent in your area. Alternatively you can call NedLoans directly at +264 81 959 2222.
NedLoans Government
If you are a Namibian citizen or permanent resident, above the age of 21 and permanently employed for a period longer than 3 months you are eligible to apply for a NedLoan.
What is credit life cover?
Credit Life is a long term insurance product which will cover any loss incurred as a result of your death, disability, critical illness or retrenchment while you have a loan with NedLoans. The policy will be ceded to NedLoans as security for the Loan.
NedLoans will require confirmation of Credit Life to finalise the application and/or can facilitate the underwriting of such a policy at application stage (through NedNamibia Life Assurance Company Limited, a registered long-term insurance company).
You are not obligated to accept the insurance offering provided by NedLoans and NedNamibia Life and can cede any existing life insurance policy provided that your existing insurance policy is capable of cessions and that the cession is accepted by NedLoans.
