If you are a Namibian citizen or a permanent resident, 21 or older, permanently employed for more than 12 months, and your employer has a Payroll Deduction Agreement with NedLoans, you are eligible to apply.
A Payroll Deduction Agreement allows your employer to deduct your NedLoans instalment directly from your salary.
You can check whether your employer has a Payroll Deduction Agreement by going to your nearest Nedbank or NedLoans branch, speaking to a mobile sales agent or calling +264 81 959 2222.
NedLoans Government
If you are a Namibian citizen or permanent resident, 21 or older, and permanently employed for more than 3 months, you are eligible to apply for a NedLoan.
What is credit life cover?
Credit Life is a long-term insurance product that covers any outstanding loan amount in the event of death, disability, critical illness or retrenchment.
The policy is ceded to NedLoans as security.
NedLoans will need confirmation of Credit Life before finalising your application, and can help with underwriting through NedNamibia Life Assurance Company Limited, a registered long-term insurer.
You are not obligated to take the NedNamibia Life offering – you may cede an existing life insurance policy instead, provided it allows cession and is accepted by NedLoans.
