How to send money to a cellphone
Use the Money app
- Log in to the app
- Tap Transact > Pay > Send money
- Add the cellphone number and amount
- Tap Confirm
- Tap Confirm > Pay
Go to Mobile Banking
- Dial *140*8001#
- Choose Option 3 – Pay
- Choose Option 2 – Pay to a mobile number
- Choose the account to pay from
- Enter the cellphone number and amount
- Tap Send
Use Online Banking
- Log in to Online Banking
- Choose Payments > Send money
- Enter the cellphone number and amount
- Click Confirm > Submit
How to withdraw a Send Money payment
The recipient will receive an SMS with a one-time PIN (OTP) to withdraw the full amount at any Nedbank ATM.
Here's how:
- Choose Cardless transactions > Send Money withdrawal
- Enter your cellphone number
- Enter the amount
- Enter the sender's cellphone number
- Enter the OTP
- Choose Confirm
That's it – the recipient will get their cash from the ATM.
