Terms and conditions

1. The promoter

Nedbank Namibia Limited, registration number 73/04561 runs this competition.

2. Competition period

The competition starts on 21 August 2026 and ends at 23:55 on 31 October 2026 (competition period).

3. Who can and cannot participate in the competition

3.1 A participant must:

3.1.1 Qualify for Vehicle & Asset Finance (VAF).

3.1.2 Have a valid Namibian ID or passport.

3.2 Our employees (including temporary and contract employees), their direct families (spouse & children), associated companies, agents, contractors, and sponsors may not participate in the competition.

4. How to enter

4.1 Apply for and receive approved and paid out VAF during the campaign period.

4.2 Deal must originate from or reference the Ongwediva Trade Fair.

4.3 Each approved deal = 1 entry; primary clients get 2 entries.

4.4 Entries received outside of the Competition Period will not be considered.

5. Qualifying products

5.1 Vehicle & Asset Finance: Up to Prime less 1.00% (subject to credit approval). Standard lending criteria apply.

6. The prize

6.1 VAF: 5 winners each receive N$2,500 fuel voucher.

7. Selection of the winners

7.1 At the conclusion of the Competition Period, all valid entries will be pooled.

7.2 Winners will be randomly selected through a fair and auditable draw process conducted by Nedbank Namibia.

7.3 The draw will take place within a reasonable period after 31 October 2026.

7.4 Selected winners will be contacted using the contact details provided during account opening.

7.5 If a winner cannot be reached or does not accept the prize within the specified timeframe, Nedbank Namibia reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

7.6 We will try to contact you a maximum of three (3) times. If we cannot get hold of you after the third (3rd) try, you will automatically forfeit the prize, and we will choose a new winner.

7.7 To take part in the competition, you must be KYC‑compliant in line with regulatory requirements. If you are not KYC‑compliant, your entry will be forfeited.

7.8 We will not be responsible for any technical failures affecting your participation in the competition or if your entry has been left out of participation.

7.9 In the event of a dispute, the Nedbank’s decision will be final and binding, following a fair assessment of all relevant information. Participants may submit queries regarding the decision, which Nedbank will acknowledge and consider.

7.10 All costs or expenses relating to the prize that have not been mentioned here are excluded.

7.11 We will not be responsible for any delays in your taking up the prize.

7.12 We will not be responsible for any additional conditions that third parties impose.

7.13 We will give the prize directly to you and not to anyone else, and we will not replace it with cash.

7.14 We will not be liable for delays or failure to deliver any part of the prize resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control. We will let you know as soon as reasonably possible if your prize is affected in this way.

7.15 We reserve the right to replace the prize at any time with another of similar commercial value.

7.16 Prizes will not be transferable.

7.17 All the information about the competition, including information that is published in any competition material, is part of these terms and conditions.

7.18 By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We have the right to update them and, if we do, we will post the updated terms and conditions on our website.

7.19 These terms and conditions are available on our website default (nedbank.com.na) throughout the competition period.

7.20 If you win, Nedbank may ask you to consent in writing to endorsing, promoting and advertising any of our services at no fee. You may decline this request, but Nedbank will still give you the prize.

7.21 By entering the competition, you acknowledge that the personal information that we need for this competition will be shared with us and our agents. We will use your personal information only in line with Namibia’s consumer and data protection legislation.

7.22 Nedbank may extend, shorten or cancel the competition immediately and without notice if Nedbank must do so by law or for reasons beyond Nedbank’s control. If this happens, you will give up any rights that you may have in terms of this promotion and you will have no recourse against us or our agents, contractors, or sponsors because of the extension, shortening, or cancellation.

7.23 We and our directors, employees, agents and suppliers will not be responsible for any direct or indirect loss or damage resulting from your participation in the competition, or for any accident, injury, harm, damages, costs or death that you or any other person who participates in the prize sustains at any point during the fulfilment of the prize.
