SADC Harmonised Balance of Payments updates

Nedbank Namibia is updating its Balance of Payments information, forms and guidance material in line with the SADC Harmonised Balance of Payments reporting framework. These updates are intended to help clients access the correct forms, understand the updated requirements, and complete international payment processes using the latest available information.

How to receive SWIFT payments

  1. Provide the following details to the sender:
    • Your full business banking details
    • Your business address
    • Nedbank Namibia’s SWIFT address − NEDSNANX
  2. Your relationship banker will notify you once we have received your funds
  3. Download and complete an Inward/Cross-border/International Payment request form and include the applicable Balance of Payments (BOP) category code as listed here.
  4. Contact your relationship banker to submit your form.
  5. Funds will be released to your account once documents have been received and verified.
  6. Please note that clients receiving regular inward payments for the same purpose are required to complete the Declaration for Inward Payments form only once.

How to make international SWIFT payments

  1. Download and complete the integrated International Payment Request form.
  2. Get the necessary supporting documents.
  3. Contact your Nedbank relationship banker and submit the completed form with the required documents.
