Implementation of the Globus banking system
We would like to thank you, as one of our valued clients, for your continued support and wish to share some important information with you.
Nedbank Namibia will shortly be moving from its existing systems onto a new computer system called Globus. This move is necessary, in part, to ensure that Nedbank complies with revised Bank of Namibia payment settlement regulations.
Furthermore, during or re-branding to Nedbank Namibia, we promise to build the bank and capitalize on the extensive research and development from the Nedbank Group that would result in improved products and facilities. These improvements are reflected in recent innovative product launches, additional branches, and experience with our Global network can attest that it has added significant value to all our clients over time.
On 20 March 2006 Nedbank Namibia will be launching its latest state of the art computer banking technology. The latest computer technology - Globus - brings the following improved and enhanced services to you:
- Improved Client Innovative Products
- Enhanced Service Standards; and
- Delivering of a much quicker and efficient service to our valued clients.
In order for you to enjoy the benefits of this technology, we enclose a brochure outlining the changes to the Nedbank products that will come into effect on 20 March 2006. Should you be affected by these changes, urgently contact your branch manager, relationship manager, or your personal banker, from March 20, 2006, regarding your new computer generated account number. Your debit and stop orders will be automatically transferred to you new Nedbank account number.
